What is PEMF Therapy?

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy or PEMF is a science based, non-invasive wellness method intended to compliment your holistic wellness journey.

PEMF recharges and exercises the individual cells of the body. By recharging the cells, this may lead to natural healing and regulating abilities of the body and allowing the body to repair itself as it was originally intended. Think of PEMF as bringing the body back to a state of wholeness.

PEMF is not condition specific, meaning it doesn’t discriminate cellular recharge for one condition to another. It supports wherever the cells need to be recharged.

Providing you with a space to relax and recharge.

PEMF Therapy FAQs

  • PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy uses gentle, low-frequency electromagnetic waves to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. When applied to the body, PEMF can help enhance cellular repair, improve pain relief, reduce inflammation, improve sleep, improve circulation — and much more.

  • Yes. Research shows PEMF can reduce joint inflammation and stiffness, improve mobility, and ease pain caused by osteoarthritis and other degenerative joint issues.

For reference, here are the findings from a study on cartilage repair.

  • PEMF works at the cellular level to lower inflammatory signals and improve circulation, which can reduce swelling and discomfort in muscles and joints.

  • Yes. It does this by addressing the underlying issues that cause limited movement and stiffness.

Many clients report easier movement and less stiffness after sessions. Clinical studies support improved range of motion, especially for middle-aged adults managing chronic pain.

  • Yes. PEMF has been shown to improve blood flow to nerves, calm overactive pain signals, and support nerve repair — making it promising for diabetic neuropathy, sciatica, and similar conditions.

  • PEMF can accelerate tissue repair, reduce swelling, and improve circulation — making recovery faster and less painful.

Reference studies on PEMF and tissue repair.

  • Absolutely. Many athletes use PEMF to improve circulation, reduce soreness, and speed recovery after intense workouts or injuries.

  • PEMF therapy is generally considered safe and well-tolerated by most people. A list of conditions PEMF is not safe for can be found in this FAQ. Some individuals may experience mild and temporary side effects, such as tiredness, soreness, or headaches, as their body adjusts to PEMF therapy. These temporary side effects are typically addressed with some minor adjustments to a session, and continued PEMF therapy use.

  • People with an implantable electronic device such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, cochlear implant and/or intrathecal pump. Additionally, those who are pregnant or have received an organ transplant, or with active bleeding, or a history of a seizure disorder, should avoid PEMF therapy.

  • PEMF creates a gentle and soothing pulsing sensation to the body. Most people feel relaxed during treatment, and any side effects are mild and temporary as the body adjusts to therapy.

Side effects can be managed simply by continuing therapy. Some of these mild and temporary side effects may include: fatigue, headache, nausea, mild discomfort or pain, changes in sleep patterns, and aggravation of inflammation.

If you are concerned if PEMF is right for you, please consult your doctor before starting therapy.

  • Session last 50 minutes, and you can return to normal activities immediately after.

We emphasize ongoing hydration after your session for enhanced PEMF benefits and reducing the potential for any mild/temporary side effects.

  • Sessions are $85. We also offer discounts for new clients and custom packages for ongoing care.
